Concepts and ideas for fanfics and such from the mind of a nut.

Title: Inauguration (tentative)

Series: Sailor Moon/Neon Genesis Evangelion

Type: Dark crossover

Analysis: This idea came to me when I first saw the Evangelion movie 'Rebirth'. Based on a mathematical similarity between two entirely different concepts, this fic will be told from a first person perspective, probably from a journal account of the events.

Story: Nine entities lead the world of Evangelion to its death and rebirth in the year 2016. However, as this has only told from the perspectives of the victims, it is now time for the stories of the people who initiated the event to come into the light. Months prior to the event when the sea became an ocean of red and humanity's fate had become evident, a secret organization known only as 'SEELE' began gathering adolescent children in the hope of realizing the next evolution of the human race. Of the potential candidates, nine teenage girls were chosen for the task, given ideals and dreams of a brighter tomorrow where they would not have to fear the threat of the Angels, a race of entities who attack the advanced city of Tokyo 3. This is an account of their training and of their perspective of the end of the world.

Probability: 67%

Title: Emancipator (tentative)

Series: Neon Genesis Evangelion/Resident Evil

Type: Dark crossover

Analysis: Intended to be a dark fic, this one will focus on the third person perspective of the main characters of Evangelion. Inspired by another fanfic of which I can not find. Hopefully will be good.

Story: In Autumn of 1998, a catastrophic event occurred in a northwest American town, resulting in it's wiping of off the face of the planet. The few survivors told maddening stories of monsters and the dead rising into the city and causing a mass slaughter on epic proportions not seen since the end of Hitler's reign fifty years previous. Officially, this occurred because it was necessary to stop a rampaging viral infection from escaping. Out of sight of the public and the world, the truth remained to be that it was merely a test of things to come. Now, almost twenty years since the destruction of the long forgotten town on the other side of the world, a group of idealists have chosen a different scenario for the fate of humanity, one which involves the the extermination of the only army that stands in their way. A weapon not seen for nearly two decades will be unleashed, one that is invisible to the naked eye...

Probability: 35%

Title: The Plight of Delta Company (tentative)

Series: Halo

Type: Dark action

Analysis: With a growing obsession of Halo, I though up this one night reading 'Halo: The Fall of Reach'. In the third person perspective, this will be in the view of a squad. Also partially inspired by the Band of Brothers HBO series and Saving Private Ryan.

Story: In the year 2549, humanity has traveled to the stars, making home wherever it suited itself and staking claim to every piece of real estate imaginable. As is the nature of our race, we have fought for the right of ownership of our own land, waging battle after battle and war after war for our right to take what we feel we deserve. However, in the on going search for another source of resources and happiness, they have made first contact. More than thirty years previous, the human race met a new source of intelligent life in the universe, one far superior to its own. They called themselves the 'Covenant', a highly advanced society of humanoids with a technology that has left humanity in astonishment. Throughout our history, all encounters with a foreign group have had either of two outcomes: a peaceful relationship and integration between the two of them or, as in most cases, an unstoppable war with only one true winner. The Covenant decided upon the later. Now, as the fight for survival continues on, humanity finds itself for the first time in its existence facing its potential annihilation. The aliens, backing their adversaries into a corner of death, have swept most of known space free of the plague that is human. But still, the humans continue to fight on valiantly, hoping the next battle will be the final one. On a lone world far from Earth, the Covenant have begun their assault on the lower race, slaughtering all that stand in their way and showing no mercy. One group of the human military is determined to keep the planet for its own, and have initiated a sequence of events that will lead to another set of outcomes, those being either their survival to live another day or their destruction at the hands of a merciless foe...

Title: Decisions (tentative)

Series: Neon Genesis Evangelion

Type: Action

Analysis: This one is different from the others in a sense that this is centered around a single person rather than a group of main characters. It will be third person, but will feature some moments that will require the first person perspective.

Story: Tokyo 3. The pinnacle of humanity's civilization to date exists as such. This would not have been accomplished had it not been for the snuffing out of two billion lives, something that has plagued the minds of every single person since that moment in time when the conceptions of our invincibility were shattered. Five years have passed since the Second Impact, and, once again, humanity has returned to a state of madness, of individual nations and individual efforts that have and will result in failure. However, everything changes over time, whether it be years from now or in a single instant like that fateful day in September of the year 2000. And, just as things always change, so do people. The life of one man was redefined by that terrible day, and he now seeks the truth. A truth that may end up costing the lives of all he cares for, and just as importantly, his own. But is one man capable of accepting the true nature of the event that took the lives of his wife and child? Only time can tell...

Title: Parasite Ranma (tentative)

Series: Ranma 1/2 and Parasite Eve

Type: Dark, action, romance

Analysis: This idea has been with me as long as I have had Metal Gear Ranma, which is to say for several years now. A third person account that involves a few trips into the mind.

Story: For two years now, the Saotome and Tendo clans have coexisted in a state of anxiety, one which would easily be resolved by the mutual consent of affection between their children. These people are Ranma Saotome and Akane Tendo, and such a romance has yet to flourish. This changes one fateful stormy night as the life of the young Tendo woman is put in the balance in an attempt to reveal herself to her fiancé. Ranma learns of the challenge she has set herself upon and races against time to prevent an outcome he prays will not happen. Akane, however, realizes how costly a choice she has made, as she is mortally wounded in the death blow of her opponent, who escape into the unholy night. Ranma finds her lying on the ground in a pool of rain and blood. Mindless of any consequences, he rushes her to the hospital, each moment ticking by faster with every step. Once there, she is prepared for emergency surgery of the up most importance, both for her own life and for another reason, one a doctor will never reveal to her or anyone else. She has been 'selected', and now it is time to bring forth the redefinement of the world, one that has been foiled twice before, but is sure to succeed in his visions...

Probability: 40%

Title: Revival of Fortitude (tentative)

Series: Sailor Moon and Resident Evil

Type: Dark crossover

Analysis: Like most of my ideas that I come up with, I throw two completely different concepts together and meld them into one another. This one will hopefully go to ask questions never asked of before of Sailor Moon. A third person team perspective with a bit of a psychological thriller thrown into the mix.

Story: In life, everyone at least once in their lives ask themselves the question of whether or not it is right to take a life. Throughout the lifetime of a person, this question inevitably is brought to the mind in seriousness, beyond the simple expressions used every day. But is it sometimes right to do so? Out of mercy? Out of prevention? Out of necessity? Is there any justification for the right to bring death? To some, this question haunts them from day to day and will never leave them. Some believe that all life is sacred and should never finished before its time. Some prey upon it, using it only to better themselves. Whether a person is one of these or another entirely, the decision that is ultimately reached is one that stays with them until the moment when they must act upon it. For one focal group of individuals who have time and again given death to countless monsters beyond the explanation of science, a time is nearing when they must act upon this question in a human aspect, and the outcome may decide their own fate, as well as that of the land they love...

Probability: 30%

Title: Conflict of Designs (tenative)

Series: Sailor Moon

Type: alterverse continuation

Analysis: Another one of my long standing ideas, I wanted to see how far I could push an idea without it getting out of hand. A third person perspective with several mind trips. Alternatively, I have this same idea in a much lighter sense, but generally the same theme.

Story: In a dark, alternate universe, the future of the world remains undecided. Having defeated the Dark Moon family and their allies, Neo Queen Serenity now rules over the planet. However, power does not come without negative side affects, and now the once peaceful and gentle queen has now become a tyranious ruler, controling the populous through brainwashing and mind control and forcing them to live a dream that they potentionally will never wake from. Seemingly everywhere, labor and 'reassignment' camps exist to reprogram the souls of those who are next in line, giving the aristocracy more power one person at a time. However, despite these dark times, a resistance has begun to form against the rule, and a conflict is seemingly inevitable. Built up of what is left of the unprogramed humans and the remains of the Dark Moon allied forces, an army has come together with the sole purpose of liberation. The leader of the charge, a young man just having escaped from reassignment camp #WKD-4496 wishes to prevent any bloodshed. In the late hours of the night, he leaves his own base undetected and heads to the Crystal Palace, arriving just after dawn with a plea of negociation. The Queen is not moved by this, and he is forced to leave with the knowledge that he will not be able to stop what has already begun.

Probability: 30%

Title: Rebel(tenative)

Series: none

Type: non-fanfiction

Analysis: This is something I thought up after reading a book called 'The Children's Story' by James Clavell, about a group of school children who adapt to a new teacher of a conquering regime (a very good short read I recommend). I found it kind of frightening to think about and I came up with this idea. Third person, with DEFINATE dark elements.

Story: The war was over, and despite all of the government's promises of a quick and total victory, their soldiers now marched down our streets, waving their foreign flag and hefting their guns, waiting for a soul to raise an arm against them. What was once a foreign government now existed as a domestic one, one that spoke propaganda about the dawn of a new age of peace and a better tomorrow for everyone. The reactions of the people differed from home to home, ranging from indifference, to acceptance, to the one thing the occupational forces dreaded: rebellion. An underground resistance has begun to form in the towns and cities of the once proud country, filling the newspaper's front page every other day with headlines of attacks and raids upon the foreigners. Word of it is spoken in whispers with eyes darting each and every way in fear of the soldiers that patrol the streets. Yes, the war was over, but the battle has only begun, now with stakes higher than every citizen, new and old, would have ever imagined.

Probability: 25%

Title: Questionable Allies(tenative)

Series: The Matrix

Type: Continuation

Analysis: It is now 2 AP (After Peace), and much has changed since the the end of the War between the machines and the human rebels. The treaty had been signed by both sides, but both stood guard with weapons in hand, fearing what treachery the other could bring upon the them. Several factions of machines and humans do not agree with this peace, instead opting to wipe out their enemies once in for all, whether it be a creature of flesh or circuitry. In response, the two 'nations' have formed a special operations force designed to eliminate the threat, made up of the best minds and warriors of both sides. Of the human part is James Mifune, the son of the legendary captain who fought corageously for the survival of the city Zion before he met his end. The machines have assigned their own aces as well, but a mutal distrust exists on for both races. Mifune know that hostility can rear its ugly head around any corner, and as they begin their fight under a new unification, the fate of both the machine world and that of the humans hangs in the balance...

Probability: 15%
